The honored position of Chief Petty Officer established on April 1, 1893 is a Naval position of great responsibility, tradition and pride.
MCPO an E-9 is the highest rank within the Navy enlisted, thus an important position and a pinnacle within the Naval service.
These old goats shaped the Navy into what it is today.
The Stars and Stripes is torn, cut and worn but still flies behind this Navy Master Chief.
