The honored position of Chief Petty Officer established on April 1, 1893 is a Naval position of great responsibility, tradition and pride.
CPO an E-7 is the first step of the Chief ranks within the Navy enlisted ranks.
These old goats shaped the Navy into what it is today.
The Stars and Stripes is torn, cut and worn but still flies behind this Navy Chief.
Even though this mug won't be hanging in the Chief's Mess, this mug does hold civilian coffee just as well, just remember don't touch the chief's mug or even wash it.
